| Description: | Spectrum established its Correctional Treatment Division to provide specialized treatment to offenders with a history of chronic substance abuse and criminal behavior. Using a cognitive-behavioral skill building and therapeutic community approach, Spectrum's correctional treatment programs teach participants practical ways to achieve a law abiding life, free from drugs and crime. Drivers are tasked with daily transportation of female residents to and from various employment locations. Drivers must adhere to all state of Virginia motor laws and operating procedures of Spectrum Health Services, Inc. in accordance with contractual obligations. They are responsible for the supervision of residents while boarding the vehicle, in transit, and departing from the vehicle. Selected candidates must be amenable to constructively communicating to supervise and manage female residents. Additional responsibilities include maintaining records of passengers picked up and returned including dates and times, fueling the vehicle, providing excellent customer service, and other duties as assigned. This position is Full-Time and is located at the Deerfield Women's Work Release in Capron, VA. Candidates must be able to work mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and some holidays if required. Must have open availability and reliable transportation. Qualifications: •High School or equivalent GED. •Valid driver's license with no moving violations •Selected candidates must have held a valid driver's license for a minimum of 5yrs. Preferred Qualifications: •Previous experience with operating charter and/or passenger buses or vans. •Knowledge of personal computers and keyboarding skills •Experience with managing offender populations |
