GEORGETOWN, Del. - Authorities are looking for a Georgetown inmate after he reportedly walked away from a local correctional facility after he did not return from an approved work pass. The Delaware Department of Corrections reports that Tywon Williams, an inmate at the Sussex Community Corrections Center, did not return from an approved work pass on Tuesday. Authorities say they have issued a warrant for escape after conviction, since Williams whereabouts are currently unknown. The 23-year-old is described as standing 5' 10" tall, weighing 110 lbs., with brown eyes and black hair. His last known address is in Laurel, Delaware. Williams is currently serving time for violation of probation of a second degree robbery. Community Corrections Centers are Level 4 facilities where the Department of Correction manages offenders who are transitioning back into the community, and are not like level 5 facilities. Inmates are allowed to leave to go to work, to look for work, or attend approved treatment sessions. Read More. |
