Department of Corrections investigates inmate deaths |

CRESTVIEW — The Florida Department of Corrections is investigating the deaths of two inmates at Okaloosa Correctional Institution last weekend. Michael Scott, 53, was pronounced dead at the prison early last Friday, according to the Department of Corrections. 10. He had been an inmate since May 2010 and was in solitary confinement at the time. Jesse Johnson, 38, was found dead in an open bay dormitory late Saturday. Read More. |
