UPDATE: An inmate who cut off her ankle monitoring bracelet has been re-captured in Wausau. Macey Hardt removed the monitoring device while she was allowed out of jail for a medical appointment at Aspirus-Wausau at 10:15 this morning. She was back in custody at 12:30pm. Her monitoring device was found in the bathroom at the Walgreens on Bridge Street by employees there. It appeared she tried to flush it down the toilet. She was recaptured at an apartment on the 700 block of Forest Street by an undercover officer. Read More. |
