Topic: A Broader View / Do treatment programs reduce recidivism? In my Service there have been encouraging reductions to the rates of recidivism across offence types. Aiming for a 16% reduction in recidivism over the next 3 years. Programs can work as long as they are intensive, focused on addressing the criminogenic factors which impact on offending behaviour and are designed for specific offender classifications. Jeez i sound like my boss. |
